Our cringy teen years spent at Marquee may be in the past, but it’s still sad to hear the news that after 10 years the iconic nightclub will be shutting their doors.
Throughout their years of operation they’ve hosted many big names including Cardi B, Drake, Bruno Mars and Paris Hilton.
After an extensive review by their new CEO, it was decided that the venue was no longer required.
“Incidents and issues have surfaced at times, and that creates additional pressures to meet the standards we expect of ourselves,” he told Confidential.
Marquee staff will be reallocated jobs within The Star. No plans have been confirmed on the future of the space.
