Local fans will have the one-in-a-lifetime chance to play basketball with global legend, Shaquille O’Neill during his visit to The Star Sydney’s 24/7 Sports Bar.
NBA megastar, Shaquille O’Neill AKA Shaq is inviting his biggest Australian fans to a three-point shoot out challenge at The Star Sydney’s 24/7 Sports Bar on Friday 26 August.
Celebrating his first visit to Australia in over 20 years, the shoot out will see five lucky locals win the chance to go up against the four-time NBA championship winner in a live shoot out to see who can sink the most baskets. To enter, fans will need to follow The Star Sydney (@TheStarSydney) and the 24/7 Sports Bar (@247_SportsBar) on Instagram, and like and tag a friend who they think they could beat in a game of basketball in The Star’s latest post.
Winners of the shoot out will be awarded a personal meet and greet with the man himself, a $250 gift card to spend at The Star’s 24/7 Sports Bar and, the fame and glory of potentially dunking a basket against one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Those looking to get in on the action will also be invited to watch the shoot out live at The Star’s 24/7 Sports Bar from 3:30pm, with Shaq available for photos and plenty of fist bumps. Plus, to ensure fans are well catered for, the 24/7 Sports Bar will be offering an array of discounted beverages and tasty pub classics – think gourmet beef burgers, finger-licking ribs, loaded nachos, chicken wings, and more.
During his stay at the iconic entertainment precinct, Shaq will also be performing as his musical alter ego, DJ Diesel at Marquee on Saturday 28 August. Tickets to the show sold out in record time.
