Safety and Liability Acknowledgement

By registering for and participating in the KIIS Run Club, powered by The Sydney Run Club (the Activity), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Please note this event has a strict capacity limit. Entry will be managed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fitness to Participate
I confirm that I am physically fit to participate in the Activity and am not aware of any medical or other condition that would make my participation unsafe or inappropriate.

Assumption of Risk
I accept all risks associated with my participation in the Activity and acknowledge that running or walking events may involve risks of physical harm, including serious injury or death.

Additional Terms
I understand that I may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions as provided by Sydney Run Club (www.thesydneyrunclub.com.au) prior to participating.

Privacy
I acknowledge that my personal information will be collected and used for the purpose of administering the Activity and otherwise in accordance with ARN’s Privacy Policy (https://arn.com.au/privacy-policy/).

Release of Liability
I acknowledge that ARN, its employees, agents, contractors, and authorised representatives will not be liable for any claim, cost, loss, or expense arising from:
a. any injury to me (including mental or physical illness, temporary or permanent injury, or death);
b. loss of earnings or earning capacity;
c. impairment of enjoyment of life;
d. loss of or damage to my property, reputation, or personal belongings;
e. pain and suffering; or
f. any loss or damage to a third party,
arising out of my participation in the Activity or any act or omission (negligent or otherwise) by ARN or its representatives. I agree that this Safety and Liability Acknowledgement may be relied upon as a complete defence to any such claim.

Indemnity
I indemnify and will continue to indemnify ARN, its employees, agents, and authorised representatives against any claim, action, proceeding, loss, or expense arising from:
a. any liability for claims made by a third party; or
b. any claim made by me,
in connection with my participation in the Activity.

Photography & Media Release
I authorise ARN to record, photograph, or otherwise capture my name, likeness, or any identifying matter and to use this material worldwide in any media format, including radio, television, online, and social media. I acknowledge that I hold no copyright or rights in such material.
