It could soon cost a bit of coin to visit the Great Ocean Road.
The state Government is asking the public about new ways to raise funds for the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority.
Some possible options include a toll to use the road, parking fees, upping the price of tourism operator licences and partnerships with private companies.
Locals would be exempt from tolls, parking fees and permits.
The Mayor of Corangamite Shire, Neil Trotter, has pleaded for an extra $20 million to $30 million a year to deal with the tourism boom.
