YouTube caused video-watching chaos yesterday after users were faced with just a black screen featuring a spinning wheel of death.
All seems to be well now, but yesterday, a site wide issue prevented videos from loading.
#YouTubeDOWN is still trending on Twitter, however, it seems the gang at YouTube managed to sort whatever happened.
Maybe they just needed to switch it off and back on again, who knows, but it drove some of us (totally not me) up the wall there for a while.
If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates.
