Sydney’s severe weather forecast has forced the cancellation of various Sydney train services across the city.
Train services on the North Shore have been cancelled between Gordon and North Sydney due to a landslip at Artarmon. A shuttle rail service is operating between Hornsby & Berowra – Services are at a reduced frequency.
Train services on the Central Coast-Newcastle rail line between Hornsby and Morisset have been cancelled. Buses have been organised to move passengers.
Sydney Metro services between Macquarie Park and Chatswood have also been cancelled. Metro services are only operating between Tallawong and Macquarie Park.
Buses are replacing train services on the South Coast rail line between Thirroul and Waterfall due to heavy rain activating safety monitors and slip detectors at Helensburgh. Trains have also been cancelled between Wollongong and Port Kembla due to urgent signal equipment repairs at Port Kembla.
Train services on the Blue Mountains rail line have been cancelled between Springwood & Bathurst due to a landslide at Leura. Train services ae operating Springwood and Sydney.
Train services to and from Macarthur will run as timetabled to Glenfield, then run express to Central via Regents Park.
Rail services between Glenfield and Turrella have been cancelled.
Some train services have been cancelled between Goulburn and Campbelltown. Some buses will be replacing train services.
