Hollywood actresses Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are sending kind words of support to Australia as parts of the nation battle devastating bushfires.
The pair are currently doing the media rounds to chat about their new series with Apple+, The Morning Show, or Morning Wars as it’s known in Australia.
On Wednesday morning, Jen and Reese appeared on the Today Show, but before opening up about their show, they spoke out with a heartfelt message about the bushfires, comparing the devastation to that seen not long ago in California.
“We are so sorry to hear about these fires that you are experiencing over there,” Jennifer said.
“California, Australia, everyone seems to be going through this at the moment and we are just sending our prayers to all of you.”
“Our hearts go out to you all,” Reese added.

Last year, wild fires in California resulted in the deaths of 85 people and left numerous properties, including those of celebrities, completely destroyed.
As of 6am this morning, more than 800 firefighters were working on putting out the 61 bush or grass fires burning across NSW, 25 of which were yet to be contained and 8 that are Watch and Act.
There’s still a very high fire danger for many parts of the state today. It’s believed over 200 homes have been lost in NSW since Friday.
