Ten fire crews are reportedly trying to fight a fire at Nomad, a Middle-Eastern restaurant in the Sydney suburb of Surry Hills.
The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that emergency services were called to the Foster Street premises at approximately 10:30am, following reports of smoke coming from the building.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control, but are reportedly still trying to extinguish flames on the ground floor. Fire crews are also working tirelessly to prevent the flames from spreading to the offices on the upper levels of the building.
It is believed the fire began in the kitchen area.
