Wouldn’t it be great if Optus Stadium had a pool which you could watch the cricket from?
This summer, they will.
A new area called The Boundary Beach Club will be set up for some lucky Perth fans attending the Day-Night Test Match against New Zealand in December.
“By creating this amazing new space, fans will have the chance to take a dip and relax under umbrellas, while watching some amazing cricket from one of the best locations in the stadium,” said Beach Club ambassador Eamon Sullivan on Wednesday.
The space will be 14m long and built across three bays of Perth Stadium.
I’ll hold up to 100 people per two-hour session.
We’re assured the pool will be cleaned after each sesh and flanked by at least two lifeguards.
Thing is, you can’t buy a ticket to the pool but you can go into the draw to win your way in as long as you buy a ticket to the Test before 8pm on Friday, October 11.
