If you’re more of a buddy the elf rather than a grinch when it comes to Christmas time, then you’re going to want to head on down to Darling Harbour in Sydney!

From mid-november, the harbourside precinct will transform into a magical Christmas wonderland filled with fun, festive things for people of all ages to enjoy!

We’re talking installations, markets, workshops, entertainment and food and drink experiences that would make even Santa Clause himself extra jolly.

In terms of interactive experiences, there will be a six-metre tall giant bauble set up in front of the ICC forecourt each evening between 6pm-11pm until Boxing Day. You can wander through the mirrored tunnel, take in the colourful display or grab the perfect selfie in front of it.

Plus there will be an interactive swinging bell for people to reach new heights on, a giant Christmas present display and even an ugly christmas jumper Photo Booth.

If you haven’t finished your christmas shopping or you need to find the perfect stocking stuff, the Darling Quarter Christmas Markets will be running from 10am – 6pm from December 2 until December 22.

There’s plenty of fun activities for the kiddies with Christmas craft activities taking place in the Christmas Workshop Station at Tumbling Park from December 18 until Christmas eve. Christmas movies will also be played in the pop-up outdoor cinema from Friday 20 to Sunday 22.

Darling Harbour is of course home to plenty of top notch restaurants and bars so the opportunities are endless when it comes to grabbing a nice meal and a drink.

Then to top it all off, you can check out the beautiful fireworks across the harbour each Saturday night at 9pm!

What a holly, jolly way to get into the Christmas spirit!
