Woolworths staff have resorted to using barricades to keep steer customers away while they stock shelves as the hunt for toilet paper and other essential items continues.
A Woolworths customer in Melbourne expressed her disgust on Facebook, slamming the antics of some shoppers.
“Just went to Woolworths Northland. [The staff] professionally and respectfully put out toilet paper for shoppers. I was expecting them to be thanked but instead, they coped so much anger and complaints, for no valid reason. People have gone mad,” she wrote of her experience.
Last week, the supermarket chain put up signs reiterating their zero tolerance policy that would not accept aggressive and abusive behaviour towards staff and other customers.
