Nobody is perfect, and for that reason we’re always trying to come up with ways to improve the way we look.
No matter how many people tell you you’re gorgeous just the way you are, we all have those little imperfections that niggle at us – and that we’re desperate to change.
So, it’s a nice change to come across a solution to a niggling body issue that doesn’t involve us going under the knife.
Like with a lot of new body trends, the Kardashians are the first to introduce us to waist-shaping corsets. (Hello butt implants!)
So when we saw Kim post photos of herself in a corset, we were intruiged – but not all that shocked.
I am obsessed with my new waist shaper from @premadonna87!!! I mean how cute is this shaper?!?! Snatching my waist and looking cute all at the same time!!! I definitely feel like a superhero in this waist shaper! Head over to @pre_shop or @premadonna87 to get your shapers ladies! #Boom #Boom #Pow #WaistGang #PreMadonna87 #Snatched
It wasn’t until we saw Khloe Kardashian wearing the same corset – and sporting a super tiny waist – that we stopped and paid attention.
Then, just as our interest was peaking, sister Kourtney posted a photo of herself wearing the corset, just weeks after giving birth to her third child, Reign.
So, what’s with the corsets?
They’re created by a company called Waist Gang Society, and they claim that all you need to do to effectively shape your waist – is wear it!
The company recommends wearing the corset for 2-4 hours a day, gradually adding in an hour or two until you’re comfortably able to wear the corset for the whole day.
Once the corset is completely comfortable on the first set of clasps, you can move to the second set of clasps to decrease your waist size even further.
So, what do you think of this waist-shaping trend?
