Look, let’s be honest – when you’re building a house, a roof is a non-negotiable.
But how do you pick one from the other?! They’re all the same… right?
We spoke with Thanh An Bui from Melrose Contracting about making the right choice when it comes to your roof.
How did Melrose Contracting come about?
Wayne Melrose’s background is in the fascia, gutter and roofing industry; from the early days of his career working with builders to the establishment of Melrose Contracting (formerly known as Melrose Fascia, Gutter & Roofing) in 1992. Wayne is still an active member of the company and that has ensured the continuation of the Melrose Contracting’s commitment to its customers, staff and contractors.
What makes you different from your competitors?
Melrose constantly strives to ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality products, using qualified tradesmen, leveraging over 25 years of industry knowledge and offering a bundle of services. Our company provides services which includes downpipes, fascia & gutter, metal roofs, framing & cladding installation. We provide the best practices, so our customers have less worries.
What are the biggest trends you’re seeing at the moment?
We are seeing strong growth in the North West, South Coast and North Coast Sydney regions. There is also growing demand for COLORBOND® Matt products.
What’s one thing someone should always consider when selecting a new roof?
Not all materials are the same as we only use quality BlueScope Steel products. COLORBOND® roof sheets are lightweight, reliable and energy smart. This means you will have a lighter roof structure that is made to Australian Standards, is durable and is heat resistant. Furthermore, it comes with a warranty of up to 25 years, providing peace of mind.
