Mario Brothers and Pokemon fans alike will be super excited by news that a theme park dedicated to these characters is coming to Universal Orlando Resort in just a few years!

Reports of a Nintendo-themed world were first rumoured back in 2017 but now the highly anticipated Super Nintendo World has been confirmed to be built at the Florida based park.

It’s set to form part of a fourth theme park called Epic Universe with executives of Comcast, the owners of the resort, confirming last wee that it is due to be open in 2023, according to Daily Mail.

Super Nintendo World is set to be built on a 750-acre property just a few miles from Universal Orlando’s other attractions, including Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks.

It’s hoped that the new world will help draw millions of new visitors to the Universal parks.

This news comes just months ahead of a Nintendo themed park, Super Nintendo World, opening at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka, which is set to bring the world of Nintendo to life.

Another Nintendo park is also set to open at Universal Studios Hollywood but no date has been set for the opening of this one just yet.
