It’s all change again at Woolies!

Woolworths is set to re-launch its rewards program and scrap the ‘Woolworths Dollars’ that it introduced just 10 months ago.

A leak document, obtained by Fairfax Media, had indicated that customers will soon be able to earn one point for every $1 spent at Woolworths supermarkets as well as Caltex and BWS liquor stores.

It looks like the deal has been done with Qantas, to bring back frequent flyers, as 2000 points will be able to be traded for 870 Qantas Points, or a $10 off voucher for their Woolworths store.

“We’ve been listening closely to customer feedback about how we can improve Woolworths Rewards,” the confidential “support guide” document reads.

Woolworths have neither conformed or denied the rumours and told Fairfax ‘We won’t comment on speculation but we have said for some time that we would make improvements to the program and include a partnership with Qantas,” she said.

“We look forward to unveiling the details soon.”
