A student who says she is normally a size 14 has put clothing giant H&M on blast after she claims she couldn’t fit into a size 16 pair of jeans in their store.

Ruth Clemens, who lives in the UK, says she was browsing through some sale items when she spotted the jeans.

After the trying them on and when it did not go well, she took to Facebook to vent.

“I’m normally a size 14 on my hips (occasionally 16 if buying trousers) so I thought I’d try them on.

I am not overweight (not that that should matter) and although I’m 5 foot 11 my body is pretty average shape-wise. It’s already difficult enough for me to find clothes that fit well because of my height, why are you making jeans that are unrealistically small?” Rachel asked.

Another shopper, Rachael James, has also been criticising the popular clothing store saying she went to purchase a size 18 pair of trousers and when she put them on at home she nearly cried.

Rachael then compared the trousers to size 18-24 months pair of baby trousers.

Shockingly there’s not THAT much of a difference.
