Two Adelaide men have turned their love of wine into a multi-million-dollar business. Brother-in-laws Justin Dry and Andre Eikmeier began selling wine from their garage.

Fast-forward five years and their business Vinomofo has over 400,000 members, 110 staff and has amassed over $50 million. The pair started out offering daily wine deals and now provide a wide range of brands at bargain basement prices. 

“We’d seen the rise of deal sites and Groupon and things like that, and that gave us the idea to do more of a flash-sale sort of model,” said Mr Eikemeier.

Despite the recent success, Mr Eikmeier said it hasn’t always been easy, revealing the men went through more than their fair share of business failures before creating the hugely popular site.
