One of the best things about Summer is enjoying the various treats that come with this hot weather. While winter is for casseroles, soups and hot chocolate, Summer is all about the fruit, cocktails and ice-cream that help cool us down.
And with that in mind the boozy geniuses over at popular Sydney bar Gin Lane have designed a summery treat set to combine all of our favourite things to help us beat the heat this season.
Say hello to their brand new G&T and classic cocktail inspired Boozy soft serve ice creams! Yep that’s ice-cream that you can get tipsy from. And the different flavours on offer sound simply delicious!
Popular Sydney bar gin lane launch boozy G&T and classic cocktail inspired soft serve ice creams
Created by Gin Lane founder and award-winning mixologist Grant Collins and Australian soft serve and gelato guru David Lopresti to create this one of a kind cocktail experience.
Made from fresh cold press juices, natural surgars and just a cheeky hint of Tanqueray Gin and Italian Prosecco, these retro style boozy soft serves are based on some of our favourite cocktails.
The menu includes:
“Soft Serve” Singapore Sling: Tanqueray Gin, Cherry Herring, pressed lime, served in a cup or waffle cone, with honeycomb and chocolate candied orange.
“Soft Serve” Southside: Tanqueray Gin, cold-pressed lime, pressed mint, served in a cup or waffle cone with candied and fresh mint.
“Soft Serve” Negroni: Tanqueray Gin, Rosso, Campari, cold pressed lime, pressed mint served in a cup or waffle cone with chocolate flake and candied orange.
“Soft Serve” Aperol Spritz: Aperol, Prosecco, cold pressed lime served in a cup or waffle cone with mint, candied orange and popping candy.
Like any ice-cream these cocktail soft serves can come in either a cup for $8 or $10 for a cone.
They’re available exclusively at Gin Lane on Kensington Street in Chippendale at their soft serve cocktail bar on Monday to Wednesday from 4pm-5pm and Thursday to Saturday from 2pm-4pm.
We know where we’ll be headed on the next scorching hot Summer day here in Sydney!
