If you grew up in Australia in the 1980’s and 1990’s you should remember the great memories of dine-in Pizza Hut’s.
News.com.au have confirmed that the fast food retailer is gearing up for a bold new move in the pizza wars of this great nation.
Pizza Hut, which has confirmed its acquisition of the Eagle Boys chain, is opening its doors to the first of their rebranded stores in Sydney on Thursday.
The new strategy, which is set to wrestle back market share from it’s archrival, is focusing on what makes it different, including the possibilities of the dine-in restaurants.
“It’s all on the table at the moment,” the chain’s new chief executive Lisa Ransom told news.com.au, recalling her own time as a young customer of Pizza Hut’s all-you-can-eat buffet.
“There’s a great deal of heritage in the brand and we are looking at ways to do things differently. We get a lot of demand for dine-in restaurants and we’ll absolutely be looking at those opportunities moving forward.”
