When you think of biting into a big juicy burger you imagine the perfect patty, simple toppings and the softest buns.
While avocado may taste great as a topping, we’re not sure how it would work, substituted for the bun.
But that’s just what food stylist Colette Dike of Fooddeco has done.
Behold her Avocado Burger Bun.
Dike says, “I like to create ‘fresh take’ ideas on classics. … Furthermore I love to think of new cutting techniques … especially using avocado, since its so photogenic and of course yummy.”
They may look delicious but we imagine they’d be impossible to pick up and eat.
However Dike says the avo-burgers should be thought of as a stacked salad option as opposed to a burger in the traditional sense.
