Dominos Pizza are planning to introduce new customers into their stores by opening drive-throughs.

If successful, they will be the first Australian chain to offer pizza through a drive-through system, with customers not having to leave their car for the first time.

The company has just announced it’s biggest profits yet, with it’s total sales reaching $1.96 billion for the 2016 financial year.

Dominos Group Executive Don Meij has said the pizza chain is ‘’focused on improving technology, pushing safer more efficient delivery while investing in world-class ordering platforms,”

The next step in their project is to allow customers to have their pizzas delivered inside 10 to 12 minutes, with pick-ups being ready in five to six minutes.

Dominos are also looming to buy up Eagle Boys, after the company went into administration in July. If this happens Dominos would be able to launch another 127 stores nationwide.
