Looks like the honeymoon period might be over for Zayn Malik and One Direction, as the star is reportedly consulting his lawyers to see if he can leave the band.
The 22-year-old, who recently left the group’s latest tour due to stress, is allegedly in talks with lawyers to see if his music and commercial contracts will allow him to leave for good.
A source told the Daily Star, “At the moment he’s convinced he wants out. He is finding it all too much and wants to quit the group.
“His legal team is seeing what the situation is. There is a strong chance he will have to fulfil his commitments and he might change his mind once he’s had time away from the spotlight… But as it stands he’s not keen to continue.”
Zayn, who is engaged to Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards, was recently accused of cheating after being snapped in Thailand partying with a fan, 19-year-old Lauren Richardson.
