For those who don’t have Netflix, Stan or some other streaming subscription, listen up.

YouTube has quietly added the ability to view feature films – for free.

The video sharing heavyweight has cut a deal with MGM to offer more than 100 of its films, including the Rocky and Pink Panther movies, the original Terminator, Legally Blonde and a slew of martial arts films, American indies and documentaries.

Other movie studios, such as 20th Century Fox, Walt Disney, Sony, Warner Bros. and Paramount are yet to follow suit, but it’s a start.

The movies will be ‘ad-supported’, so there will be the odd ad break, but hey, free.

Now we just have to work out how to add more hours to the day to catch up on everything.
