As of the 1st of June, regional NSW has opened up for holiday-ing again!

We can finally leave the city, FREEDOM!!

According to the government website, you can travel anywhere within NSW.

If you’re renting a holiday home or AirBnb you can share with up to 10 people, however if you’re from the same household you can have more than 10 people!

So with that in mind, here are some amazing places to visit in NSW if you need a short getaway!

The Hunter Valley

We’re talking beautiful sunrises,  wine, chocolate, more wine and just supreme relaxation.

Lake Macquarie

The quaint region is smack bang in the middle of Sydney and Newcastle. It’s pretty much a gorgeous lake with a bayside town. There’s activities like horse riding, boating, fishing and just general beachside living.

Orange

It may not be on the top of your mind when you think of a glam weekend getaway but Orange is the dark horse of holidays!

A lot of wines made in The Hunter Valley are actually grown in Orange so you can expect a gorgeous expanse of vineyards. If it’s the right time of year, there are cherry blossoms, bright wattle or at the moment the town turns ORANGE with autumnal colours.

Mudgee

Mudgee is a cute little valley town and because of this it’s a little warmer than its surrounding towns which will come in handy in winter. There vineyards, heritage villages, national parks and some AMAZING accommodation and camping spots.

Palm Beach

Head up to the northern beaches for some ‘you’ time. There are almost empty expanses of beach up there, an amazing walk where you’re surrounded by the sea and a cute little lighthouse!
