The new Royal baby Princess Charlotte was christened at St Mary Magdalene church on July 5 and although the actual ceremony was private, it was the first time in living memory that the public were invited to view the arrival of the royals at the church.

This is the first time the family has been photographed all together, as they made their way from the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk to the church with Prince George and the Princess.

The nine-week-old Princess wore the same gown as her now two-year-old brother did on his christening, which is an exact replica of the gown worn by Queen Victoria’s first child – 174 years ago!

The original gown was worn by 62 of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry.

There was one noticeable absence at the ceremony, Prince Harry is working in Africa for the Nature Conservancy and Save the Rhino Trust.

The family will pose for their official portrait to mark the occasion, which will be shot by Mario Testino – and we can’t wait to see the photos!
