Lego Masters were also the ratings masters on Monday night, snatching eyes away from the other masters, MasterChef, in a numbers battle described as ‘a reset for TV’.

It was the series return for both shows, and Lego Masters pulled 838,000 in metro viewers across the country, eclipsing MasterChef Australia‘s at 670,000.

Maybe it was the fact that Tom Williams stopped short of taking his shirt off this time around when performing that cha cha from 15 years ago, but Dancing with the Stars: All Stars took out the bronze at 644,000.

Tom Williams did not recreate this iconic television moment.

It was a different story in Perth.

The possibility that Tom might take his shirt off was too much for Perth, with Dancing with the Stars: All Stars easily winning its timeslot at 102,000, followed by Lego Masters at 97,000… and MasterChef only clocking 58,000.
