WARNING: The below includes major spoilers from Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight.
With many couples on edge early into the experiment, we’ve just seen one very dramatic episode of Married At First Sight.
One of the most tumultuous couples was Tash and Amanda, who made history as the first lesbian couple to participate. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be.
After a war of words between one another and other participants, Tash shared a heartfelt letter where she expressed her well wishes for Amanda after the show.
Before they got off the couch, Amanda made sure to state that their experience wasn’t a reflection on same-sex relationships in Australia. It was a beautiful moment and it had the room and viewers across Australia in tears.
Amanda's speech made me and my fianceé cry 🥺 Thank you Amanda for saying that, it needed to be said. #MAFS @MarriedAU

Amanda and Tash. You proved that gay relationships are no different to any other relationship. We all have the same issues #MAFSAustralia #MAFSAU #MAFS

Actually, a genuinely beautiful sign off from Amanda. Love is Love and sometimes things don’t work out, gay or straight. #MAFS

We really hope Amanda and Tash can find true love outside of the show. They both deserve all the happiness they can find.
