He took home a Golden Globe award on Sunday for his stellar performance in The Night Manager.
But while his acting received the highest praise, Tom Hiddleton’s acceptance speech copped a lot of criticism.
In his speech, the 35-year-old spoke about his volunteer work in South Sudan, but while he intended to inspire the audience and promote a good cause, some said he simply sounded as though he was bragging.

And now the actor has responded to the backlash, and said he actually agrees with the criticism.
In a Facebook post, Taylor Swift‘s ex said he was super nervous and his words came out wrong.
Aww poor Tom! We can’t help but feel sorry for him…
