Is this the world’s largest great white shark?

A 67 year old Florida man who travels the world to take photos of great white sharks was recently in Mexico, where he snapped this amazing creature that he believes could be strong competition for the title holder of the ‘world’s largest great white shark’, which has been named Deep Blue.

Recorded at 6 metres long, and estimated at being about 50 years old, ‘Deep Blue’ is… massive. Found in the waters of Mexico, this record challenger was too big to be photographed from the safety of the cage.

I have definitely learnt something today – NEVER go swimming off the coast of Mexico.
