Etihad Airways is now offering a house in the air… well close to it! On their Airbus A380 planes a new “Residence” will be available on the upper deck of the cabin. The Residence offers a living room, separate double bedroom, ensuite shower room, and a personal butler. Each residence will also have a different look, with separate colour palettes, table marquetry and custom carpet.

The airline is attempting to create a boutique hotel experience with the design, hoping to maintain a chic aesthetic throughout the plane.
“The galley equipment is concealed behind custom Arabic fretwork screens and blinds, while the trolleys are covered by elegant wood-finish doors, setting a stylish and welcoming environment for all guests,” the airline said in a statement.
