When you send a personal Email, you send it for one pair of eyes only.
That was the intention behind Sony employees’ Email exchanges when discussing such high profile namkes as Leondardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie…
But a hacking scandal has brought these personal Emails to the world stage, leaking them online.
In one Email, producer Scott Rudin calls Angelina Jolie “a minimally talented spoiled brat” in Emails with the co-chairman of Sony Pictures, Amy Pascal.
In another Email, Rudin and Pascal make racial jokes about President Barack Obama, forcing them to apologise –
“I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive … I’m profoundly and deeply sorry.”

Pascal also made a public apology for her remarks.
“The content of my emails to Scott were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am.”
The latest subjects in another set of released Emails is Leonardo DiCaprio.
Today the Daily Beast has uncovered leaked Emails between Pascal and producer Mark Gordon.
The pair rip into DiCaprio over his decision to ditch the role of Steve Jobs in the upcoming Apple biopic.
Gordon: “Was this about the deal … or did he just change his mind?”
Pascal: “The latter.”
Gordon: “Horrible behaviour.”
Pascal: “Absolutely despicable.”
The Daily Beast also reveals exchanges between Pascal and head of TriStar productions, Tim Rothman, where they talk about a bizarre interview with Jaden and Willow Smith.
Rothman: “1. Read this. 2. They r home schooled: don’t let this family date your movies!!!”

Another Email reveals Pascal talking about issues with George Clooney and his film Monuments Men –
Clooney: “It’s getting worse. I need some protection from all the reviews. Let’s just make it a hit. I haven’t slept in 30 hours. And it’s 7am.”
Pascal: “We will protect you by making money … that’s the best revenge.”
Clooney: “I adore you Amy. You are literally the only person running a studio that loves film. I fear I’ve let you all down. Not my intention. I apologise. I’ve just lost touch … who knew? Sorry. I won’t do it again.”
Not a good week for the company.
