Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Vin Diesel’s on-set spat is just a ruse for an upcoming wrestling showdown, according to reports.
The two actors reportedly fell out while they were filming Fast 8 and just last week Johnson stunned fans when he took aim at his cast mate in a social media rant saying they are ‘’candy asses’ after bad behaviour on set.
He has never named names, but insiders claimed the posts were targeted at Diesel, who is also one of the film’s producers.
Further fuel was added to the fire when The Rock took to Instagram to thank the cast and crew of the film but didn’t mention Diesel at all.
However, it seems the one-sided war of words is just a ruse for an upcoming WWE showdown. The Rock looks set to get back in the ring at the end of the ‘’huge prank, and it’s all for publicity,” a source tells Life & Style magazine. “The Rock convinced Vin to amp up the drama between them so they could turn it into a WWE match to help promote the April 2017 release of Fast 8.”
Jason Statham is believed to not wanting to get involved in the ‘feud’ or the upcoming fight.
