A street mural of Taylor Swift popped up yesterday in Melbourne’s Hosier Lane by graffiti artist Lushlux, but not the kind she would’ve appreciated.
People on social media were quick to point out that Lushlux got the spelling wrong as the mural said “Taylor Smith” instead, although this was intended by the artist to try and avoid legal action from using her name. But that plan hasn’t really eventuated as a threat was still issued from Taylor’s legal team:
As a result, Lushlux has re-worked the mural to become a tribute to the late gorilla Harambe who we all fell in love with.
There’s no way Taylor’s legal team could ask for this memorial to be removed, right?
