Taylor Swift and Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie put on a sparkly spectacle last night.
The musicians teamed up to perform their new smash song “ME!” during Tuesday’s broadcast of The Voice Season 16 finale. Swift’s sequin-heavy set kicked off with the songstress, dressed in a dazzling pink and silver ensemble, blending in front of a gigantic glitter-covered butterfly display before descending a shimmering staircase as her troupe of backup dancers bust moves all around her. Moments after, Urie enters onstage wearing pink pants and a burgundy suit to join Swift for the duet.
“ME!” is the first single to appear on Swift’s yet untitled seventh studio album (dubbed TS7), expected to release this year. Last night’s presentation was the pair’s second time delivering the tune live after debuting the single at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards earlier this month.
Prior to this, Swift provided details about her new LP while accepting the Tour of the Year Award at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “I always look at albums as chapters in my life,” she said during her acceptance speech. “And to the fans, I’m so happy that you like this one… But I have to be really honest with you about something: I’m even more excited about the next chapter.”
Until then, be sure to catch Swift along with a host of other artists at the 2019 iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles on June 1.
