Sydney is currently being lashed with wild weather including heavy rainfall, damaging winds and even snow in some areas of New South Wales.

As a result, travel has become difficult on the roads, some flights have been delayed at Sydney airport and now even the ferries are experiencing cancellations.

Sydney ferries have announced that services are not running between Manly and Circular Quay due to the large swell.

Footage obtained by 9News shows massive waves slamming up against one of the ferries and even flooding the outer deck on board the boat.

Buses are now replacing the ferries but computers are being told to allow extra travel time or delay their trip if possible.
