It’s hard for the boys on The Bachelorette to know how they’ll come across on TV.
And watching the series back, Sasha regrets one particularly embarrassing kiss with Sam.
“The thing I find most cringe-worthy was watching (Wednesday night) with the art date and the fact we had that first kiss and there was just heaps of tongue involved,” he told The Heckle podcast.
“I got a message from my mum going, ‘What are you doing?’ and I’m like, ‘Sorry mum, sorry about that’.
“I’ve been called the iguana this morning at work because of the tongue… the lizard.”
On Thursday’s night’s episode where the guys took Sam to their home towns to meet their families, Sasha took things up a notch by getting his mate to write her a love song.
“Considering I haven’t been able to tell Sam how I’m feeling, I thought, you know what, let’s just bring out the big guns straight up,” he told the podcast.
“That way someone else can say it as opposed to me. The intention there was to serenade Sam a little bit and obviously not to tell her I love her by song… love’s a big word to use. I don’t use it fairly often. But it was just to let her know I am thinking of her, I am falling for her.”
And how did Sasha’s mum get along with Sam? Listen to The Heckle podcast to find out.
