Ricky Martin has made an exciting baby announcement while accepting an award over the weekend!
The 47-year-old ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ singer was speaking at the 23rd annual Human Rights Campaign National Dinner in Washington DC on Saturday when he told the crowd that he and his husband Jwan Yosef were expecting their fourth child via surrogate.
His husband and two of their three kids, 11-year-old twins Valentino and Matteo, were in attendance during the announcement as Ricky spoke about how proud he was of his family.
“My family’s here,” Martin said. “Jwan, I don’t see you but my husband Jwan I love you, my beautiful twins, Valentino and Matteo, they’re also here, I love you with all my heart, you’re my strength, you inspire me every day, you motivate me to keep doing what I’m doing an you guys are amazing kids. You guys are amazing. I love you. Lucia, my baby girl who is not here with us, she stayed at home with Grandma, but she’s also the light of my life.”

Ricky Martin was being honoured at the event with the HRC National Visibility Award for his work in supporting LGBTQ rights and philanthropy.
“With his unique voice and passionate activism, Ricky Martin has used his international stage to advocate for LGBTQ people around the world,” said HRC Predisent Alphonso David in a statement.
