23 years ago, the Italian film ‘Life Is Beautiful’ was released to rave reviews.
Directed by Roberto Benigni, the film won three Oscars for its soundtrack, best actor and best foreign language film.
However, it was five-year-old Giorgio Cantarini who stole the show with his sweet, innocent face and impressive acting chops.
Now, at 28, he is carving his own path, moving from Italy to New York to pursue a career in acting.
In January, he made his New York stage debut in the play ‘Lions Don’t Hug’, and will star as Giorgio Lamborghini in the upcoming film ‘Lamborghini’ alongside Alec Baldwin.
