It was 2011 when we first met Sophia Grace Brownlee after she covered Nicki Minaj’s ”Super Bass” and went viral.

Of course, she gained even more attention by regularly appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with her cousin Rosie McClelland.

Sophie is now 13-years-old and has released a song called ”Girl in the Mirror” which features Silento, the guy who brought us Watch Me Whip/Nae Nae.

The song carries an empowering message for girls to accept who they are and actually like the person in the mirror.

Lyrics include ”Cause every setback’s just a setup / For something just a little bit better.”

This is actually Brownlee’s third single after she released ”Girls Just Gotta Have Fun” in 2013 and ”Best Friends” in 2014.

Rosie does not appear in the music video but is still very much best friends with her cousin!
