The film – which will feature Marvel’s first-ever Chinese superhero – was scheduled to begin filming in March but was postponed by 18 weeks due to COVID-19 guidelines.
Its crew and cast have reportedly arrived in Australia, and have subsequently been quarantining with filming expected to begin next week.
Canadian/Chinese star Simu Liu leads the cast alongside American actor Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians).
Shang-Chi and The Legend Of The Ten Rings is expected for release in May 2021.
