Brace yourselves ladies. Your long harbored wish to become a princess may have gotten one step closer.
Prince Harry has made the decision to leave the military, and as he winds down his services it seems he will have an extended stay in Australia, seconded to serve with units here.
After serving in Afghanistan for the past two years, Harry is ready to take the next step with his life which includes “travelling abroad”.
Surely that has to include some down time too, doesn’t it?
Just to make you swoon a little more, it seems Harry wants to dedicate himself to charity work and persue interests in wildlife and conservation – as well as helping rehabilitate former military personnel.
So the royal’s bad boy has a soft side too!
“The Prince thought long and hard about his decision to leave active military service but, having served his country on two tours of duty, he felt the time was right to leave. He has loved his time serving,” a senior source from Kensington Palace told the London Evening Standard.
“Officials are still working on the precise timings but he will leave the military this year after serving Down Under. Before that he will travel to both countries and be based there and is very much looking forward to that.
“The exact timings have not been finalised yet, but are expected to be announced officially very soon.”
