In the midst of the release of Fast and the Furious 7, Paul Walker’s 2013 passing seems all too fresh in our minds.
If you’ve seen the movie, no doubt you’ve wiped away tears, feeling a connection to the guy you feel as though you’ve come to know over the years.
Walker’s only child is just 16, but she’s had to deal with the passing of her father all too soon. The stunning brunette actually lived with her father for the two years prior to his passing.
Her uncle, Paul’s brother Cody Walker (who also filled in for his brother in the Fast and the Furious 7 movie) says that Meadow is attempting to stay out of the public eye during this difficult time.
My family and I truly appreciate the support we have received during this difficult time. One of the many things I admired about my brother was his genuine desire to help others in need. As many of you know, in 2010 @paulwalker founded @reachoutww, a disaster relief organization. It is with great honor that I have decided to join the ROWW team as Brand Manager. I look forward to working with like-minded individuals and partners to ensure ROWW continues to aid those in need in the years to come. As Paul would say ‘when you put good will out there, it’s amazing what can be accomplished.’ We can all make a difference in this world and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother’s legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on.
“Paul went to great lengths to protect the entire family and his daughter and I think that time – we’re always going to miss Paul – it’s just that time does heal to an extent.
‘And I think that everybody in the family is dealing with it in a different way and it’s difficult enough as it is to be 16-years-old so it’s complicated.’
However, Meadow stepped out to Coachella with friends and was seen having a fun, carefree time with her friends.
She also uploaded a photo to Instagram of her with the ‘Fast and the Furious family’ that her father was such a big part of, including Elsa Pataky and Vin Diesel.
