By now everyone out there should’ve heard about the Roseanne Barr debacle that involved the actress sending out a disgraceful, racist tweet comparing former presidential aide Valeria Jarrett to an ape.

As a result, the show ‘Roseanne’ that had just been revived on ABC in America was cancelled and Roseanne has since apologised for her statement and removed herself from twitter.

This didn’t last all too long though because in a development this morning, Roseanne tweeted once again, blaming her racist tweet on the fact that she had taken Ambien, which is a prescription sleeping pill.

“It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting – it was Memorial Day…I honestly thought she was Jewish and Persian — ignorant of me for sure, but … I did,” she wrote.

The company who makes the drug came back and Roseanne though as tweeted an epic response. “While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication,” they said.

Anyway, while Kyle and Jackie were discussing the absolute mess that is Roseanne Barr’s twitter feed right about now, it got them thinking about the actual side effects that people get from taking strong prescription medication such as stilnox.

After all, Jackie has experienced the strange side effects herself after she took sleeping pills and then woke to firefighters in her house after she’d unknowingly attempted to cook muffins.

They decided to open up the lines to our listeners to find out what sort of crazy things they’ve done without realising while taking sleeping pills and we have to say the answers are so insane that they’re almost unbelievable.

We started off with a guy who wet the bed, moved onto a guy who took his motorbike for a ride, but the most HILARIOUS one buy far was one woman that cooked her family an entire roast dinner in the middle of the night and then had no recollection of it!!

Watch the video above to hear the seriously insane stories that our listeners shared with us.
