Nicki Minaj has offended yet again with a passive aggressive tweet to Taylor Swift.
At least, that’s how Taylor Swift has taken it. The ‘Anaconda’ singer tweeted today referencing a music video – and Taylor Swift has hit back, defending herself and appealing to Minaj’s loyalty to women.
If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

The feud so far has only incorporated the two tweets, but we have a feeling Minaj is just thinking about her response.
@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..

The rapper picked up three nods on Tuesday morning – but not in the categories she was expecting.
And she was stunned that her Feeling Myself promo didn’t get a mention. “MTV thank you for my nominations. Did Feeling Myself miss the deadline or?” Minaj tweeted.
Minaj then sat back and watched as fans took aim at MTV for not nominating her Anaconda promo for Video of the Year.
She later tweeted, “When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination”.
Minaj added: “U couldn’t go on social media w/o (without) seeing ppl (people) doing the Anaconda cover art, choreo (choreography), outfits for Halloween … an impact like that & no VOTY nomination?” Taylor Swift leads the VMAs nominations with nine. Minaj picked up nods for Best Female Video and Best Hip-Hop Video (Anaconda) and Best Collaboration for her Bang Bang hit with Jessie J and Ariana Grande.
