Teen Mom has become one of those guilty pleasure reality TV shows that you watch when you’re feeling like winding down in front of the TV after a long day; or what we like to refer to as a good ol’ trashy TV session.

And well, if you’re a fan of the reality TV show then get excited because by the looks of it we’re going to be getting our own spin off here Down Under!

MTV has announced that they’re bringing the highly popular Teen Mom show, which follows young mothers through their journey of bringing a child into the world, to Australia! And yep, they’re currently looking for their new cast of Aussie parents.

The Teen Mom franchise first premiered on our screens in 2010 as it told the story of young parents who have since become household names such as Farrah Abraham, Catelynn Baltierra, Maci McKinney and Amber Portwood.

The local version of the show will premiere with 10 episodes in 2019 and if you’re a young mum wanting to take part, you can sign up for casting right now!

But of course there are a few terms and conditions.

The entry form states that they’re looking for “young mothers who are willing to give Australia and New Zealand an exclusive and candid insight into the lives they live”.

You must also be at least 16-years or older, have a child under the age of two and be an Australian cities or permanent resident to enter.

Filming is expected to commence in early March next year and could last for up to 12 weeks, during which time the applicant must be available.

If this sounds like you then good luck! You never know, you could be the next Aussie reality TV star!
