We love it when celebs are honest about motherhood.
While their Instagram accounts might make things look all clean, and happy and fairytale-like, it’s nice to know that this isn’t always the case. Because you know, it makes us feel better about our own lives.
Recently Blake Lively was brutally honest in an interview about her family life, explaining to Good Morning America that having three young kids is like going from “2 to 3,000”.
And this morning Miranda Kerr echoed this honesty, telling us that being a mum to 9-year-old Flynn, 1-year-old Hart and newborn Myles can certainly be tough sometimes.
“It actually does,” Miranda said agreeing with Lively’s admission. “Especially when they’re so close in age like my last two little ones.
“I’m breastfeeding one and then the other one, my 20-month old Hart is like pulling my finger, like ‘Mum! Mum!’ and he doesn’t understand that I have to breastfeed.”
The 36-year-old model told us that Hart constantly wants her to play with him while she’s breastfeeding, while her other son Flynn is always wanting to be taken to a friend’s house.
“He’s always like, ‘Mum I want a playdate! Can I have a playdate? I want to see my friends.’ And so I’m like scheduling his life full time and between his after school activities and all of that,” Miranda said.
“So it is definitely, like three is a lot more than two.”
In saying that, Miranda wasn’t fully opposed to having another baby! When we asked he about the possibility of number four, she told us that it’s certainly not been ruled out.
“I”m not sure. I’m open,” she revealed. “Right now, I’m open.”
