After failing to find the woman of his dreams on Sam Frost’s season of The Bachelorette and again on Australia’s first season of Bachelor In Paradise this year, Michael Turnbull has finally found love and is engaged!

And it seems all that it took was looking beyond the realm of reality TV! (Who would’ve guessed..?)

After being with his girlfriend Natasha Candyce for two months, Michael popped the question while on a romantic cruise on the Brisbane River back in November.

“I was so surprised, I didn’t know what to expect,” 27-year-old Natasha told Who Magazine about their plans to head down the aisle.

37-year-old Michael went on to explain that he went above and beyond to make the proposal as special as possible.

“I had a private boat waiting for us (at Kangaroo Point) with a captain and a sea deck waitress,” the reality star told the publication.

“We had some champagne and some food, and then had a sunset cruise down the Brisbane river.”

Natasha was set to be a reality TV star herself having been signed with Chanel Nine for the next season of hit show Married At First Sight.

After dating on and off for about a year, Michael made the decision to make things official with Natasha after hearing about her offer from Nine, saying that this made him realise how badly he wanted to be with her.

The Blonde bombshell then reportedly quit the show only days before she was due to film her “back story” segment.

Since then, it’s been a whirlwind romance for Michael and Natasha, with the pair moving in together in Brisbane and starting a joint property management business together shortly after making their relationship official.

“Natasha and I are very excited to be living together,” Michael said to Daily Mail Australia back in November.

“And we are very busy building our property management business here in Brisbane.”

Congratulations to the happy couple!
