He’s a cross between Dan Bilzerian and Hugh Hefner, but Travers Beynon wouldn’t have it any other way.
The self-titled ‘Candyman’ is the playboy of the Gold Coast. He’s also the heir to the FreeChoice tobacco empire and his newest venture, the Candy Shop Mansion is designed to get around tobacco advertising rules in a bid to promote sales.
His lifestyle consists of fast cars, luxurious living, crazy parties and scantily-clad females and his Instagram profile is a reflection of that.
The secluded riverfront mansion in River Cove Place at Helensvale hosts hedonistic parties with ‘Candy Shop goddesses’ as far as the eye can see. Some posts on Instagram show the ladies receiving more than just a good time at his parties, as they receieve exclusive Versace handbags as a ‘thank you’ for attending.
His car collection could also rival Hefner’s as he is photogrpahed posing next to his Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari regularly.
His vision for the Candy Shop Mansion started almost two decades ago.
“Through years of travelling, I gained plenty of inspiration,” he said in a statement provided exclusively to the Gold Coast Bulletin.”
“But my vision was always to develop and create a more entertaining party event — something akin to a Disneyland that adults could enjoy coupled with a similar hysteria to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory for children.”
“I’m most happy when I can entertain people and see that ‘wow’ sparkle in their eyes, and for that I ask nothing in return,” he said.
