It was announced earlier today that Married At First Sight star Cyrell Paule was pregnant with Love Island’s Eden Dally.
The news came in an exclusive photoshoot and interview with New Idea, showing off Cyrell’s baby bump and a picture of the ultrasound.
Since the news broke, Cyrell has only just addressed the news herself, posting one of the New Idea images of her cradling her baby bump to her own Instagram account.
But she’s already causing a stir with the caption, which appeared to be referencing the fact that people have questioned her relationship with Eden, calling it a publicity stunt.
“When u (sic) get paid 2K to have a baby” Cyrell wrote alongside the picture, which has since drawn loads of attention in the comments.
“Time to grow up now girl,” wrote one person in the comments section.
“Not funny to joke about being pregnant, just tell the truth. There are females out there that would love to have babies but can’t,” wrote another.
Others questioned whether the caption meant that she wasn’t really pregnant.
“Oh I hope this isn’t a fake preg joke… it will hurt a lot and offend,” someone wrote.
But the news appears to be sincere! Eden also posted in the comments writing, “Going to be an amazing mother”.
Cyrell’s fellow MAFS cast mate Susie Pearl also posted a bunch of red love-heart emoji’s.
Speaking with New Idea about the pregnancy, Cyrell and Eden explained how they found out that they were having a baby and that it came as white a shock.
“I’ll be honest, it was not planned. I was freaked out thinking about Eden’s reaction,” Cyrell said.
“Then my friend settled me down and I thought, “What did I want?” We went to the shops and I bought three pregnancy tests. I screamed and cried! Then I went and bought a fourth one. It sunk in eventually. I’ve got nothing against it, but for me I don’t have the strength to have an abortion. So I knew, then, I’m having a baby!”
Congratulations to the pair on their baby news!
