I’m sorry to write this one, but we’re scraping the barrel for stories today I’m not gonna lie to you.
And if you think about it, it’s pretty funny.
Yesterday, ex-MAFS contestant Bryce Ruthevan was caught out paying to promote his own personal Instagram post which is kinda cringy.
A romantic picture was uploaded of himself and his partner from the show Melissa staring into each other’s souls.
“There are brighter days ahead.. support each other through Lockdown 4.0.”
Now, that’s actually a sweet message and kudos to them for having a loving relationship BUT because Bryce put some money down on it to squeeze as much engagement from the post as possible, it started popping up on people’s feeds who do NOT follow him and that was an active choice and they weren’t too happy about it.
Bryce has responded to the backlash by saying “We wanted to help spread a positive message during Lockdown 4.0 to our online followers’ when approached by Daily Mail for comment.
Hmmm sounds like you wanted to scoop up some more Insta-followers but hey, that’s just my opinion, I know nothing.
Yup, so that happened.
Sorry for interrupting your day, as you were.
